Navmaster Office is a chart management tool designed to
assist managers in situations where traditionally paper charts have
been required. It has varied applications such as emergency response
planning, incident management, post-incident analysis, route risk
assessment, route planning, port assessment, feasibility studies,
moorings management and more. It can be installed on a laptop, desktop
or on a network.
Emergency response & analysis benefits
-
Speeds up response times
-
Gives managers a competitive edge when handling
incidents at sea
-
Enables managers to be in touch from anywhere in the
world
-
Provides standard Windows tools for creating and
printing reports
In dealing with an incident at sea, almost the first
support document needed by the response team is a navigational chart
of the area. From a lat/long input Navmaster Office will bring up the
right chart in less than one minute.
Tools such as the range and bearing function make it
easy to use the chart. Tidal stream overlays can assist the risk
assessment process and help determine the right course of action.
Navmaster can store and export data, such as vessel
information from Lloyds Register or the ETA of the nearest rescue
vessel, which can then be transmitted to all relevant parties. Images
can be stored to aid analysis and assessment.
During post-incident investigation, Navmaster can
replicate incident position and attendant factors, provide colour
chart print-outs for briefings and reports for high-class
presentation.
Route risk assessment, planning and management

-
Makes it simple to store fully documented
berth-to-berth passage plans
-

-
Data can be exported from Navmaster to other Windows
applications
-
When used with Navmaster Professional, routes and
logs can be e-mailed from vessels for display in Navmaster Office
Navmaster Office supports a very wide variety of
business requirements in shipping offices. Route-planning is a
requirement for many managers. Simple to create and professionally
documented, Navmaster's passage plan reports can even be customised to
your company's corporate identity.
The system's unique database features allow managers
to keep an effective record of data and changes to data - navigation
objects, for example, or moorings. |
